Dear Valued Customer,
As I am sure you know a manufacturer’s warranty protects you in the event of premature equipment failure. If something goes wrong during the warranty period, the manufacturer will typically pay for the repair or replacement of the broken equipment. Our company can help you to keep your Furnace & Air Conditioning System in Warranty- (this applies to equipment installed either by us or another company).
However…
There are a handful of reasons why a manufacturer may refuse to honor a warranty. The most common is the failure to properly maintain the equipment. In the past, manufacturers often honored warranties even when it was obvious that the product had not been maintained. Today, that’s not necessarily true, as manufacturers are seeking ways to cut costs and minimize liabilities. If a system has not been serviced annually, the manufacturer has the right to refuse any warranty claim.
To protect your investment, it is imperative that you maintain your equipment on an annual basis. Even a minor repair could cost hundreds of dollars on these increasingly high-tech furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps. Research shows that a system that is properly maintained will also last longer, run better, maintain capacity, break down less often and keep your utility bills under control.
Manufacturers recommend having your equipment maintained at least once per year; anything less could void your warranty. Our recommendation is two maintenance visits per year (one for heating, one for cooling). While you can call us at any time for either service, you will save money with our Annual Maintenance Program.
When you enroll in our Annual Maintenance Program, we will automatically schedule your maintenance service twice a year and we will even call to remind you when it’s time for that service. The cost of the program is just $ 300.00 per year (per furnace and air conditioning system) and includes several additional money-saving benefits. Please call us today with any questions.
